Inorganic clay 

Water based organoclay CP-EW is modified bentonite. It is mainly used in water-borne system.

Advantages

• High gelling effectiveness, CP-EW can form gel even at 2% in water
• Easy dispersing
• Its gel is transparent and of light color
• Prevents pigment settling
• High thixotropy, Good anti-sag property

Application

inorganic clay CP-EW is used in the following applications:

• Industrial water reducible paint
• Toothpaste and tooth polish
• Cream and Lotions
• Emulsion paint
• Pigment and blunge water
• Water-borne sealant, adhesive

Using

CP-EW it can be added directly in powder, with its addition to be 0.2~3.0%. Procedures are as follow.

1. water (PH:7.0-8.0)
2. CP-EW (Dispersing at high speed for 20-30minutes)
3. Additive
4. Pigment and filler (Mixing and dispersing)
5. Emulsion (Mixing).
6. Post correct.

Kraft paper bag with PE liner or multi-wall paper sacks or customized. 25kg/bag or 22.68kg/bag or customized

Storage

CP-EW has a shelf life of 2 years, and should be stored in ventilated cool and dry place.
