FerroChrome Lignosulfonate (FCLS): The addition of chromium-iron lignosulphonate to water-based drilling mud systems effectively controls rheological properties at elevated temperatures.
It is suitable for use in water-based muds, salt cement muds, gypsum muds, and lime mud systems. It is recognised as a temperature stabiliser, rheology controller, and gel strength reducer.

FerroChrome Lignosulfonate (FCLS)
FerroChrome Lignosulfonate (FCLS): Following the incorporation of chromium iron salt of lignosulfonic acid into water-based drilling fluids, it exhibits high solubility and is suitable for diverse mud systems, functioning effectively in both freshwater and saline environments.
It exhibits tolerance across a broad pH range and maintains efficacy even in highly contaminated environments.
It reduces viscosity and enhances filtration control.
Performance remains unaffected under high temperatures or in the presence of impurities.
This compound also serves as an excellent rheology stabiliser and highly effective deflocculant.
Method of use: We recommend adding it directly to the drilling fluid in powder form, ensuring the pH remains consistently within the range of 9.5 to 10.5.
As a diluent, the typical dosage is 0.5% to 1%. When used as a fluid loss control agent, the dosage ranges from 2% to 5%.
These are merely our recommendations; you may determine the optimal dosage through experimentation.
