Drilling Additive Organophilic Clay CP-E23 is a kind of organo clay rheological additive. Especially it is recommended to be applied in medium polarity and high polarity system including aromatic and aliphatic solvent.

Drilling Additive Organophilic Clay CP-E23 is used in the following applications:
- Paints including decorative paint, industrial paint
- Oil drilling mud
- Cleaning agent
- Oil putty
Drilling Additive Organophilic Clay CP-E23 can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. The addition is recommended to be before grinding procedure to get the best effectiveness. Addition level is commonly 0.2%~1.0%. In low polarity system such as mineral spirit, if polar activator is added, better efficiency can be achieved.
Dosage of polar activator is suggested to be 10%-20% of CP-E23 by weigh
