Montmorillonite clay organoclay for UV ink , Offset Inks , Screen printing ink
Montmorillonite clay organoclay CP-27 is an organic bentonite clay with high purity , self-activated and easily dispersible. The Rheology Modifier could use for UV ink , Offset Inks , Screen printing ink .When our organoclay is incorporated into ink formulations, rheological additive provides reproducible rheology characteristics, pigment settling resistance, improved dot gain, controlled tack, controlled misting and increased yield value. Our organoclay rheological additive can be used in a broad range of ink systems and has been proven especially effective additives for lithographic and many gravure inks
1, Application
Montmorillonite clay organoclay CP-27 is used in the following applications:
Ink : UV ink , Offset Inks , Screen printing ink
Marine paint, Industrial paint, heavy-duty, anticorrosion paint (especially for epoxy paint)
Grease
Ink
Sealant
Unsaturated polyester putty
2, Using
CP-27 disperses under high shear and requires a polar activator for best efficiency. Heat is not required to obtain good dispersion. Addition levels are typically in 0.2%~2.0%. Normally addition level of polar activator (95% Ethanol or 95% Methanol) is recommended to be 45%~60% of CP-27 in weight.
3, Properties
Composition Organic derivative of a montmorillonite clay
Appearance Fine powder, light yellow
Moisture content (105℃,2hr) ≤3.5%
Loss on ignition (1000℃) 34.7%
Bulk density 0.53g/cm3

Montmorillonite clay organoclay
When you are producing ink, organoclay bentonite is a very good choice to use it as an additive in the ink, which is an organic bentonite clay series produced by Camp Shinning. As a viscosity additive, regulator and anti settling agent, it is an ink additive. The emulsion has a balanced filterability, and maintaining thickening and rheological properties is very excellent. These additives also need the best choice of inks with high coverage capacity and hidden surface defects.
As an ink additive, organoclay bentonite is mainly derived from its high thickening performance. It is a thickener and rheological agent specially designed for ink and oil drilling mud. These particles are very easy to disperse and have stable viscosity. Organic bentonite is a fine powder that can be easily applied to various fields.
Organophilic clay bentonite can effectively improve the shear thinning and anti sagging properties, improve the color coverage and improve the rheological properties. In addition, organic bentonite, which can be mixed with organic and inorganic pigments to increase the rheological properties of the overall formula, is also called a rheological agent. It has the characteristics of anti high temperature and high pressure in high temperature weather.
