Rheological Additive for fire retardant

Rheological Additive for fire retardant: Our water-based rheology additives can be used in industrial flame retardant products primarily formulated as water-based gels.

They effectively prevent sagging within the flame retardant system itself and resolve sedimentation issues involving fillers and pigments in flame retardants, meaning our water-based rheology additives possess anti-settling properties.

Simultaneously, they enhance gel transparency, resulting in improved appearance. They also reduce production time for flame retardants and resolve dispersion issues.

Rheological Additive for fire retardant

Rheological Additive for fire retardant:The CP series water-based bentonite is an inorganic bentonite. As a thickening rheology modifier, it exhibits high gel efficiency, making it particularly suitable for flame retardants with exceptionally low addition levels. It also features outstanding dispersibility and a visually appealing light-colored transparent effect, ideal for enhancing the appearance of gel-type flame retardants. Its strong anti-sagging and anti-settling properties prevent filler or pigment separation during extended storage, extending shelf life by over 30% compared to conventional flame retardants. This advantage stems from its high thixotropic characteristics.

CP-EW Practical Application Steps in Gel-Based Fire Retardants(Streamlined production process for water-based gel fire retardant formulations)
  1. Prepare the water-based fire retardant base (adjust pH to 7.0-8.0);
  2. Directly add 0.2~3.0% CP-EW bentonite dry powder and disperse at high speed for 20-30 minutes;
  3. Add fire retardant additives (e.g., fire retardant fillers, smoke suppressants);
  4. Mix and disperse fire retardant pigments/fillers;
  5. Add fire retardant emulsion and stir evenly;
  6. Fine-tune the system viscosity to complete the formulation.
