Bentonite Slurry, Slurry additive <a href="http://www.organicbentoniteclay.com">organophilic clay</a> CP-150 is an easy dispersing, self activating organoclay that exhibits high-performance efficiency in diesel, low aromatic mineral oil, modified vegetable oil, and synthetic base fluid formulation.

CP-150 unique rheological structure suspends weighting materials and other solids with less increase in viscosity and gel strength than conventional bentonite. It is highly effective in distillate and mineral oil based invert fluids.

<h2>How to Produce Bentonite Clay Slurry</h2>
The process of producing bentonite clay slurry is relatively simple. First, the clay is mixed with an agitator in a central mixing tank. Next, the clay is transferred to a swell tank with a pump.

After 12 hours, the slurry is re-mixed. It is then transferred to a storing tank, and pumped with a vertical pump to a pile point.

The clay slurry is then processed in the presence of a polar organic dispersant, such as propylene carbonate. The mixture is stirred with a mechanical stirrer at 450 rpm for 45 minutes. Then, a polar activator is added.

The Bentonite Slurry is then prepared by adding a 1% concentration of an organophilic cation or anion.

The ion solution is composed of a cation in isopropyl alcohol and an anion in water. This solution is then added to the diluted clay slurry. This process is repeated until the desired consistency is obtained. If the clay slurry contains too much sodium, it will be a poor gallant.

The Bentonite Slurry can be used for various applications. The most commonly used one is to make clay slurry for masonry. It can be used to build dams or bridges.

It can also be used in water treatment and is an excellent barrier for moisture. It is a natural material for soil stabilization. It has a high water-soluble polymer that will not erode. This clay slurry is ideal for building and filling concrete.

The slurry produced from the bentonite clay process is then filtered to remove contaminants. After it has been filtered, it is pumped back to a filtrate holding tank.

The process of preparing bentonite slurry involves the preparation of lumps from bentonite.
