Organic bentonite primarily enhances the film properties within coatings, strengthening and stabilizing the structure while providing robust anti-settling performance. This ensures coatings remain unaffected during storage, preventing sedimentation. Organic bentonite also maintains stability under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, making it a heat-resistant variant. It delivers consistent thixotropic properties and improves sag resistance.
In the oilfield gas industry, within oil-based drilling muds, it cleans wellbores and carries cuttings out of the well.
