Using
When it is used in Grease Lubricant, polar activator is needed. Polar activator is acetone/water(95/5). The dosage of activator is 20%-30% of the weight of CP-250A. And also high shear can promote the dispersing of CP-250A.

Note: With High-speed dispersant of grinding machine, and properly prolong the dispersing time, better gelatin performance can be reached.
The Lubricanting grease which uses organoclay as thickener will own high dropping point, thus can be used under high temperature and presents good impermeability and water resistance.

Although the influence of polar activator on the overall structure and rheology of lubricating grease is relatively small, it plays a positive role, because organophilic clay bentonite can affect a good fusion between the thickener in the lubricating grease and the base oil. At the same time, the main influence of the lubricating system is in the initial stage of the production of lubricating grease. Once the production is completed, its influence is very, very small.
In the grease formula, the polar activator affects the rheological properties of the grease by changing the polarity of the base oil. Based on the high polar , the lubricant of the oil only shows a greater density than that based on the low polar . When shearing occurs, the polarity of the base oil is also important for the structural of the grease.
It must be noted that the use of polar activator will not affect the viscosity of the lubricating grease, but it will affect the rheological property of the lubricating oil, and can also improve the wear resistance of the lubricant. If you are using high–emperature lubricating grease, please specially explain to us that we will choose the high–emperature resistant organic bentonite with the model suitable for high–emperature lubricating grease for you.
In order to enhance the adhesion of lubricating grease to the metal surface, the addition of activator in the organic bentonite can improve its additive and its outstanding performance in surface adsorption.
We can clearly see that the polarity of the base oil in the grease will affect the shear stability and consistency of the grease, and the optimal concentration will change with the base oil and additives in the grease.
