CP Series Water Based Rheological Additive is an inorganic gel. It is a kind of  purification of modified montmorillonite clay with the features of gray-white, tasteless.soft texture powder,

the main ingredient for the product is hydrophilic, high-purity(modified)montmorillonite clay,CP Series Water Based Rheological Additive with excellent swellability in water,colloidaldispersion, suspersion, thickening and thixotropy,water based organoclay is the excellent anti-settling agent, emulsion stabilizers and the rheological additive for water-based system, and further it has good adsorption,   The performance of the products in many respectsare superior to CMC, HEC.

Using

YN-WE it can be added directly in powder, with its addition to be 0.2~3.0%. Procedures are as follow.

  1. water (PH:7.0-8.0)
  2. YN-WE(Dispersing at high speed for 20-30minutes)
  3. Additive
  4. Pigment and filler (Mixing and dispersing)
  5. Emulsion (Mixing).
  6. Post correct.

Kraft paper bag with PE liner or multi-wall paper sacks or customized. 25kg/bag or 22.68kg/bag or customized

Storage

YN-WE has a shelf life of 2 years, and should be stored in ventilated cool and dry place.

Water based rheology modifiers for waterborne paints are produced by Camp Shinning. Usage Method of pre-gel

Rheology modifiers for waterborne paints can be pre-gel.

1), Water based Rheology modifiers :   water 1:6.

2),Add the powder at the edge of the container in the condition of the dispersion(Rapid dispersion and half hour).

3),The slurry will be diluted to powder: water=1:8.

4),10% solid content,stir for 10 minutes, store the PH stability for useing.


Using of water based clay

Water borne organoclay Rheology modifier can be added directly in waterborne paints, with its addition to be 0.2~3.0%. Procedures are as follow.

  1. water (PH:7.0-8.0)
  2. Water borne organoclay (Dispersing at high speed for 20-30minutes)
  3. Additive
  4. Pigment and filler (Mixing and dispersing)
  5. Emulsion (Mixing).
  6. Post correct.

Remarks: Water based rheology modifier need to fully sheared and dispersed to achieve the best thickening effect. Proper storage after the preparation of gels can improve the thickening property and anti-sinking thixotropy effect.

Water based organoclay of inorganic gel can be used alone in combination with other thickeners, such as carboxymethyl cellulose and expanded acrylate to obtain the optimal rheological properties of the system.
