In some high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, organophilic clay bentonite shows excellent resistance to high temperature and high pressure performance, effectively improve the performance of the mud, and can lubricate the drill bit to maintain the stability of the well wall.  

1. Base oils in the Kuwaiti market are mainly based on diesel fuel, and when organic clay bentonite is applied to the diesel fuel system, it can effectively improve the viscosity of the mud fluid, that is, its thickening effect can be manifested, thus enhancing the ability to carry sand and preventing well leakage.
2. Thixotropic properties is another major advantage of organic bentonite in the mud fluid, that is, when it is static into a gel state, it can prevent the drilling mud from settling, and in the shear force, it can realize the state of flow, which will help circulate the mud circulation.
3. In some high temperature and high pressure situation, organic bentonite shows sufficient stability, at the same time, its lubricity is also in the diesel system of mud fluid is a big advantage, because it can reduce the friction of the mud, reduce the friction between the drill bit and the wall, which prolongs the service life of the drill bit.

In diesel oil based fluids,organophilic clay viscosifier CP-2 are used to increase carrying capacity and suspension properties, providing support for weight materials and improved cutting removal.

Organophilic bentonite also aids in filter-cake formation and filtration control.

Organophilic Clay CP-2 is packed in 50lb(22.68kg) or 25kg/bag or customized,multi-wall paper sacks or Kraft paper bag with PE liner or customized.

Storage

CP-2/CP-2A Store in a dry, well-ventilated area with temperature of 0℃-30℃.  Keep container closed. The quality guarantee period is 24 months.
