Advantages
High purity, low silica content. The Quartz content is less than0.5%.
Fine dispersion and particle size.

Application
ย CP-24 is used in the following applications:
Paints including top grades paint, decorative paint, industrial
paint.anti-corrosion,container paint, marine paint and auto paint.
Printing Inks.
Sealants and adhesive.

Using
It can be added directly in powder under high shear condition. Addition level is commonly 0.1%~1.0% (7%-10% in greases) of total formulation by weight. in low and medium solvents, Polar activator is required to achieve better performance. The addition procedure is suggested as below.
Add resin in solvent.
Add CP-24 under slow agitation.
Disperse under high speed for 10-15 minutes.
Add polar activator (95% ethanol or 95% acetone)
Disperse under high speed for 10-15 minutes.
Add wetting agent and other additive.
Grinding and next procedure.

ย If to make pre-gel, better efficiency can be achieved. Addition level in pre-gel is 8%-10% of total pre-gel in weight. Pre-gel procedure is as below.
Add solvent or solvent mixture.
Add CP-24 ย under slow agitation.
Disperse under high speed for 5-10 minutes.
Add polar activator.
Disperse under high speed for 10-15 minutes.

Polar activator is suggested to be ethanol/water (95/5)or acetone/water (95/5). Dosage of polar activator is about 10%-35% of CP-24 by weight.
