  • Rheology additive | different grade have different temperature stability

Our rheology modifiers use in oil drilling which have different temperature stability. About 360°F (180 ℃), organoclay CP-982 have good temperature stability in diesel oil.

About 480°F (240 ℃), organoclay CP-150 have good temperature stability in mineral oil.

    Rheology Additives increase film thickness

Rheology additive is an organoclay. Rheological additive could increase viscosity, improving storage stability, and orientation of effect pigments when organic bentonite use in paints ,grease lubricant and Inks etc.

By using rheology additives, the application properties of the most varied of systems can be significantly improved.

Moreover, the rheological additive must be precisely adapted to the polarity of the system, depending on whether the system in question is solvent-borne or water – borne .

Depending on the desired improvement, tailor-made solutions and a precise adaptation of the rheological profile are required. For example, the increase in storage stability requires a different viscosity profile than an increase in layer thicknesses; If modified bentonite for an increase in viscosity in low shear status, a different approach is required than that for an increase in the brush resistance.

Currently,our organoclay have water based rheology additives and solvent based organoclay.

 

  • Package and storage:

The package of rheology additive :  Kraft bag or kraft complex interior with PE or customized

Packing size: 25kg/bag or 500kg/bag or customized. Products should be stored in ventilated cool and dry place.

Storage life:  Two years
