Matting additive is a kind of organic surface treated, and easily dispersible amorphous silica agent for  applications in glass paints, furniture coatings,baking finish,PU paint, and PE coatings.

Advantages:

High matting efficiency because its particle size distribution is in the range to effect excellent matting efficiency.

Easy dispersing. Normally it can be dispersed completely under mix speed 1200rpm (5-6m/S) for 10-15 minutes. Temperature should be controlled to be below 50℃.

High transparent, and foggy appearance can be avoid in vanish.

Application

MT-6301 matting agent allows exceptional surface characteristics with excellent slip effect, also in pigmented coatings. As a result of its outstanding suspension behavior, it is especially suitable for use in clear coatings, color coatings，coil coatings and furniture coatings. It is suggested to be added together with some fine wax powder or adopt other anti-settling method.
